SASH BASH WEEKEND 2024 was another record breaking year It was another record breaking year with attendance up 48% over 2023 and 85% over 2022.
We had a diverse group of attendees, including female identifying attendees, transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming attendees. We had a larger vendor mart featuring 2 leather vendors, more educational workshops and coffee chats than ever before.
We announced that SASH BASH WEEKEND will be expanding in 2025 with four (4) regional SASH BASH WEEKEND events happening throughout the United States in honor of the 10th anniversary.
We also announced the creation of a grant fund that local leather and kink organizations will be able to apply to for funding of new initiatives to help strengthen local community efforts.
We brought over 150 registered attendees and titleholders together from across the United States for a weekend of fetish, fun, family and fundraising. I am pleased to announce that as a result of this weekend’s efforts, a total of $10,226 was raised for The Leather Archives & Museum and Iowa Safe Schools.
Since it’s inception, SASH BASH WEEKEND has raised over $45,000 for these organizations and we look forward to continuing to raise funds to help in the preservation of our leather history and moving forward, investing in our local leather and kink communities.

In 2025, SASH BASH WEEKEND will be happening in four (4) locations across the United States. Host cities have been selected that have a similar vibe to Iowa City where the event has been happening for the past several years.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
There are volunteer opportunities available for those willing to give of their time during the event. Serving as a workshop session host, donation collector, hospitality suite monitor, clean up crew are just a few of the roles available. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer, please complete the form below to sign up.
IOWA CITY HOST HOTEL
The host hotel for SASH BASH WEEKEND 2025 in Iowa City, IA is The Travelodge by Wyndham - Iowa City. The deadline to book a room at the special group rate is February 21, 2025.
The special room rates are $70 plus tax for a King Room and $75 plus tax for a Double Queen Room. The rate includes free parking, free WI-FI and free breakfast. The Travelodge by Wyndham features an onsite restaurant and indoor pool!
Contact the hotel directly to make your reservation and mention that you are with the SASH BASH 2025 and ask them for the group rate. Do not use a third party booking site like Expedia, Hotels.com or others as we are trying to sell out the hotel with SASH BASH attendees in 2025.
